Leading up to the fourth annual Central Coast Railroad Festival, held Oct. 4-8, are a variety of events including National Train Day on May 12 in San Luis Obispo, a day to celebrate the 143rd anniversary of the nations first transcontinental railroad. In addition, Central Coast Railroad Festival Wine Rail Excursions are offered the second Sunday of every month. Tucson Pop Festival to honor legendary, pop art superstar and innovator Andy Warhol, April 6-8, 2012. Pittsburgh native and Tucson resident Monica Warhol is re-launching cousin, Andy Warhols Factory Concept 25-years after his death. The exhibition will be at the Historic Rancho Linda Vista Arts Gallery at 1995 West Linda Vista Road, (the site of Andy Warhols 1968 film Lonesome Cowboys) and at The Wilson Barn, (the non-profit Childrens Educational Art Foundation), at 2436 W. Linda Vista Road in Oracle, Arizona.

Both The Rancho Linda Vista Art Gallery and The Wilson Barn, RLV Oracle Art, Inc., will feature Is What, M. Warhol the exhibition by Monica Warhol. A discussion with the Artist, Monica Warhol, will take place Friday evening at 6:30 with an introduction by Dr. of Art History, Professor Paul Ivey.

Tucson Pop Festival will be held Easter weekend, Friday, April 6th, hours are 4 to 10pm; Saturday, April 7 from 11am to 10pm and Sunday, April 8 from 11am to 8pm. The Festival will feature musical acts from diverse talents such as trip-pop band Ensphere, local blues legend Stefan George, Dixieland horn ensemble, Brass Pandamonium, 80′s influenced Electro Pop, Nikki Leathers and Leather Clutch and the Tucson Musicians Museums, Ruben Moreno and Mariachis Herradura from the Musicians Museums Mentorship program . Monica Warhols Art Exhibitions opening party is April 6-8, as part of the inaugural Tucson Pop Festival, is an all ages event, with daytime and evening programing, music, glass blowing exhibitions, tarot readings, various attractions, demonstrations and happenings. New York based stand-up comedian and writer, Ryan Conner will be hosting parts of the Tucson Pop Festival and performing on both stages. A challenge of this screening room was the client’s desire to have no compromises when screening movies, yet double as a gamer’s dream system. The end result is a high-design home theater with three tiers of seating, DBox motion controlled home theater seats, 4-way adjustable motorized projection screen, a high-end JBL Synthesis audio system, and the ability to play two game consoles at once with a split screen. In gaming mode, the audio can be split between the speakers on each side of the room. The Crestron-controlled theater can even display up to four video sources at once, allowing the homeowner to monitor multiple sporting events when desired.

The winner of Best Outdoor Space is located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, CA and features the largest water pop-jet fountain ever installed in a residential application. Extensive outdoor lighting and hidden landscape speakers create an inviting outdoor environment. The water jet fountains feature LED color changing lights to create a constantly-changing show set to music; such as seen at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. A portable weatherproof TV can be moved to different areas of the yard yet hides out of the way when not in use.
